Help! Should I be able to expect the exported Artisteer html file to look the same in EW? It doesn't. Any ideas why? I kind of defeats the purpose of purchasing Artisteer. I had a template in EW but it looked different in the browsers. Now I'm having the opposite problem. It makes it hard to edit the text in EW with the preview very different.
Thx!

Hi Debbi,
Can you provide a link to the site you are speaking of so we can take a look at it, please?
Thank You,

What do you mean by EW, did you misspelled DW (Dreamweaver) as EW.

I do not have the site uploaded so am not able to give you a link. EW is short for Expression Web. I've also since opened my file in Dreamweaver with similar results. Border colors bleed thru background where text is, no border on sidebar boxes, etc. What are most people using to edit the template files? Thx in advance

I was so excited when I opened kompozer and my Artisteer file came in perfectly and I was able to edit in design view and "preview" showed perfectly. Then I discovered when I went to view it in html it lost much of the formatting. The text formatting was still there but for the most part the layout format was not. I went back to see where things went wrong and the problem happened as soon as I added an image. It's looking like there's no getting around learning html/css or is there a simple explanation for this? thx for your help, I'm really wanted to finish my site this year yet...good grief

Hi Debbi,
Unfortunately none of the WYSIWYG apps will display a web page exactly like in an actual browser.
I't so easy to install something like XAMPP or similar on your local machine so you can then preview html/php in real web browsers....
