I can´t change size and font color of article headings.
Changing size of H1, H2 etc. does not affect article headings.
They are alway aprox. 22px - very large!

I am having exactly this problem. I have set up a site for someone. Where menu items use a single article layout and the menu page title is disabled the article title displays according to the article header text size specified when designing the template.
However, the site also has a blog that uses the article category layout which shows the component title (page title - "The Blog) at the size specified in the the article header text size but the linkable article titles resort back to artisteer defaults where the text size is much larger than anything i thought i had specified. If you click on an individual article from the blog then once loaded the pagination "next" button also inherits this large text issue.

Help anyone?

:-) add this css to the bottom of your template css

.art-PostHeaderIcon-wrapper, .art-PostHeaderIcon-wrapper a, .art-PostHeaderIcon-wrapper a:link, .art-PostHeaderIcon-wrapper a:visited, .art-PostHeaderIcon-wrapper a:hover
{
font-size: 20px;
}

You can change the color and size of article titles going Article-> Header-> Text in Artisteer

Shariya - thanks for the suggestion but this defeats the purpose of purchasing Artisteer. Whilst I will bear your suggestion in mind I'd rather try and see if there's a setting I have missed and see if it can be resolved within the product first.

Garry - I am fully aware of those settings and have configured them accordingly. What I need to change is what Joomla refers to as a "Page Title" which you normally set as a parameter of a menu item.

Also, how do I set the text properties of pagination links in individual articles?

thanks :-)

I was unable to change FONT STYLE and FONT SIZE in Artisteer. I found the problem involved MS Internet Explorer. To replicate the problem:

1. Open MS Internet Explorer
2. Click T(f)OOLS / INTERNET OPTIONS / ACCESSIBILITY
3. Check mark "Ignore font STYLES specified on web pages"
4. Check mark "Ignore font SIZES specified on web pages"
5. Close Internet Explorer

Open Artisteer. You will not be able to set font styles or sizes. To correct the problem, reverse the above procedure.

Also Artisteer will not display Flash unless it is installed specifically for Internet Explorer. But if I preview my template in Firefox, it works.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It seems like many of the features of Artisteer depend on Internet Explorer and its settings in order to display them in the Artisteer window. In Control Panel, Internet Options and Flash can be accessed. However, Artisteer should ignore these settings settings as well.

Artisteer should render its own code in a proprietary manner, and not pick up settings from Internet Options and a browser specific Flash installation.

Having said all that. Artisteer is a great product. It takes template design to the next generation. And it is the only product to do so (although I've seen some free online template makers for Joomla).

I would upgrade to 3.x if I had the money, but I am between jobs.

I hope this information helps someone.

I had same bug. But not Artisteer. Bug is Drupal.

Drupal by default does not allow FULL html. So in the editing of content the human author must select "full HTML", then save the article. At that point open another browser and see the large text. There is some setting I have seen somewhere. I think I can set custom settings. I wish to say that H1 to H5 is included in the basic HTML. But that's drupal's bug. By default H1 to H5 should be basic HTML.
