HI

Creating a wordpress theme using Artisteer and love the product however....

I am working on a 2 column template and want to have the background colour for the articles a different colour to the background colour for the sidebar but when I change one it changes both. I want a coloured background on the sidebar and plain white on the article.

Any ideas? It's perfect apart from this

Cheers

Actually... there is a cheat around this. In BLOCKS select the following.
STYLING
- Radius: No Radius
- Block Spacing: No Spacing
BACKGROUND/SHAPE
- Fill Color: Whatever color you want to use.
- Border...Gradient...Texture...Shadow... NONE
HEADER / SHAPE
do the same thing

It will color that side column for as long you use widgets. So it works, but it has it's limits.

What I would like is to be able to do the same thing with a 3rd column only use a different color.

Just go to your CSS and edit the styling property associated with columns to change the color
