I used Installatron to install Joomla. I changed nothing in Joomla, but installing the template is not possible. error message:
JFTP::write: Bad response
Unable to write entry.
What can I do?

Just use an FTP program (for instance FileZilla) and copy the folder where you published your template to the Templates folder of your Joomla installation.
Then with Templatemanager of the Joomla backend you can select the new template you built yourself

Marc,
Chances are the installatron did the setup and it's ownership is acutally the apache web server.
Just have your host chown ownership to the user.
Should be fine then.
