I am having a lot of trouble getting my Joomla Artisteer template to work with the available extensions. It just wont pick up on the theme .... take a look at jaysmineonline.com and select the "contact us" button for an example....
is there a work around to this? A way to edit the code? Let me know!

Your site is not online. Is says your site has no index file. Maybe your joomla site is in a subdirectory. But anyways have you tried adding class suffixes to your extensions. I was having a similar menu problem and adding a suffix "_menu" fixed the problem. Check out http://docs.joomla.org/Tutorial:Using_Class_Suffixes_in_Joomla!_1.5
