Hi,
must I really decide while creating the template wether I want the icons for date and author to be shown? And how can I make the icons for pdf, print and e-mail to be shown? The general settings are set on "show". But the template does not show these icons. Others do. Is artisteer insufficient to manage this or am I??

You have to check Joomla.
In the menu that points to that page you can set it on or off.
Also in the page you are calling you can set this on or off.
In order to show these icons, both must be on.

My gues is that you have set one of them to off.

If I change the template to a Joomla standard one (e.g. beez) the icons are shown. So the Joomla settings are OK.

On a related question, is there an easy way within Artisteer to have the three icons display at the bottom of the article, not at the top?

Thanks.

Did you happen to modify or verify that the icons were were present and left "turned on" within the template when you created it?

If by some chance you removed them, or the program generated a template without them present you will not be able to show them.

If that is the case, simply open the template file, choose which icons to use and export the template again. Make sure that the old template files are either over written or uninstall the old one, then reinstall the modified/new one.
