Your site looks great. Your header image makes the whole page. What did you do it in?

Nice Sites Russel. I assume you can take constructive advice, right? 8-)

on the russellstutely/platinum site, you can tell pretty quickly that you are a photoshop novice. Let me say that i am in no way flaming you, im here to give you "constructive" advice.

Most novice users of photoshop, or those with little design experience tend to "over do it". This is the problem with your text "helping you become a pressure point fighting expert". Your use of the emboss tool has done more to hurt you than help you. Its typically a better idea to under do, rather than over do text effects. They will be far cleaner looking and more readable if you just use a nice block style font, a drop shadow, and STOP YOURSELF HERE! :-P

Open that PSD file, and remove the emboss, i think you will be more happy with the result, and your users will get more of a sense of professionalism from their first imporession of your site. After all, impressing your users, and instilling a sense of trust right off the bat is the goal, right?

Otherwise, GREAT Job..

P.S. Remember, my opinions are worth exactly $0.02, therefore this one may or not be worth anything to you. Im trying to help ya, not flame, so if you reply, try to keep that in mind.

Sincerely,

Steve

Hi there,

I agree with Clifton here.

The header looks really good but a little touch less makes it even look better. Keep the good work going Russel, the sites look very nice! :-D
