I have been trying to get a header and footer that is fluid, ie, 100% full screen as there are already many sites that employ this styling technique.
Has anywhere been able to manually change a template to do this?
It would be great in future release if this additional flexibility could be selected.

I have been trying this also, and have no success and I am pretty good at this stuff....  so I would be interested in this answer as well.

It would involve a great deal of CSS editing in order to get it to work.
I spent about 2 hours making a fluid width theme by hand editing the CSS and it worked ok, but wasn't perfect.
It would be a nice inclusion for a future Artisteer feature.
