I am testing out latest trial (standard) version of Artisteer. I just kind of messed around with some features (colors, header, etc...), then exported Joomla template. However, when I go to install it, I get:
Warning: file_put_contents(/home/sp2000/public_html/joomla/tmp/install_49de1e5491c17/salonpartner/functions.php) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/home/sp2000/public_html/joomla/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 297
Unable to find install package
Is this because of trial version, or can I expect these kind of problems with the latest version ...

I just downloaded version 2.1.0.15753 and it works now. Must have been fixed in this update.

Where or how did you download the version 2.1.0.15753? I am having exactly the same problem you had.

I uploaded the 2.1.0.1 and get the error "Warning! Failed to move file."
when I try to upload the zip template file to joomla.
Any Ideas?

I note that download.com is still serving version 2.02. And the Artisteer site still directs new demo testers over to download.com
Given that that version doesn't install in Joomla 1.5, you may want to update it ASAP.
