How do you get the new blocks to work in a theme made with the previous version?
I can see the blocks if I make a new theme but not if I use a theme I have just finished in the old version.
Do I have to recreate the theme (hope not) or is there a work around?
(Exporting the theme for drupal)

You are opening the ARTX file in a newer version? And you are not able to modify it?

It said it was opening it in compatibility mode. Then adjusted the block settings. Saved and exported it into my drupal installation. Went to blocks and no new regions showing.
If I make a brand new artx file and then export that to my drupal installation and go to blocks the new regions are showing.

Solve it. Had somehow exported the theme into a folder inside a the old theme's folder and so drupal, of course, couldn't see it.
