Hi,

I have tries using Nice Menus modules and YUI Menu to get work in Artisteer's Drupal theme but I cannot work.

Nice Menu didnt show any submenu when mouse over the menu.

YUI Menu shows off the submenus but it appears behind the Articles layer then the submenus is not appear very well and its hiding below the Articles layer as I said just now.

Is anyone know how to fix this? Artisteer Support? Where are you?

Thank you.

On your menu, make sure the set is expanded:

Site Building > Menus > Your Menu > Expanded Check

Hi there Artisteer

I am currently testing Artisteer - seems exciting and has potential. However I don't think I will buy it unless the drop-down multilevel menus work correctly in Drupal. The Primary Links menu is activated correctly and Site Building > Menus > Your Menu > Expanded is Check. Makes no difference – the drop-down menu items only show if the parent item is active. Therefore you cannot see whether second or third Primary-Link parent items have child-menu items until they are activated. This cannot be right – Suckerfish works ok why not Artisteer menus?

Hope this can be fixed – if so this programme is a winner

I imagine so - but you would need to replace the menu with something like Lucid menu
http://drupal.org/project/lucid_menu

Problem is, that seems unsupported now and only works in Drupal 5.x.

Other options are:
http://drupal.org/project/dynamic_persistent_menu

and;
http://drupal.org/project/nice_menus

In using one of these, the challenge would be to apply the styling from the Artisteer menu. This would be quite time consuming and defeats the object of using Artisteer in the first p[lace.

Come on Artisteer - please respond to this bug!

Actually - have eventually figured out hoe to make this function properly

In Drupal 6.x go to:
http://your-drupal-site/menu-customize/primary-links

or whichever menu you wish to use.
and there check the expanded boxes

sos Artisteer

they were checked.... BUT: False alarm:
I use the Module: DHTML Menu and that module can't work with artisteer in the head menu. To solve go to admin/settings/dhtml_menu and check at "menus without DHTML:"

x) primary-link (or what ever)

I am happy that it works now, great, and I think other people will have this problem to, but its easy to solve.

Also, make sure when your creating the template in Artisteer, you have the Subitem-->Multilevel selected.

I was wondering how to turn the menu on. I was trying to modify the menu of the PHP templates, but could not find any modifiable code.
However I finally figured it out and I fixed it. Now I can see the menu on my page. I am developing this site on localhost I don't have any link to post here for you to see it. But I will tell you how exactly to fix it.

Go to your site [logged in]
www.your-site.com/admin/build/block/list/"your-site-theme-name-selected-here"

Or

After you logged in go to
SITE BUILDING >> BLOCKS >> LIST >> [select the active site you are using ] then
scroll it down and you will see PRIMARY LINKS option configure it to MENU using the drop down menu selctor then
Save the configuration. That is all you have to do. Now you have to see the menu listed where they are supposed to be.

I love drupal I will use drupal on all my sites. The best CMS ever.
I have one site running on WordPress but I am going to switch it to Drupal. I know Joomla too but did not like it that much. I am not go to waste my time on it right now. .........................:-DFYI
