Not sure if it's an option in the user interface but you can edit the footer.php file to remove it or replace with something else.

I certainly think it should be an option in software you've paid for :-/

it's on the footer code. after you upload it.. you can use the word press editor to erase those lines of code. (appearance -> editor-> footer.) and your right.. if we have paid for the software you shouldn't had to be forced to have on.

Permanently replacing the footer code.

Go to:

C:\Program Files\Artisteer 2\Library\Data\Templates\WordPress\Export\Glyphs

Open FooterText.html

Remove the code in this page and replace with:

<p>
<a href="#">Contact Us</a> | <a href="#">Terms of Use</a> | <a href="#">Trademarks</a>
| <a href="#">Privacy Statement</a><br />
Copyright &copy; 2009 <?php bloginfo('name'); ?>. All Rights Reserved.</p>

Save the file

You can also remove the Contact Us / Terms of Use, etc etc etc if you don't want those links in the footer as well.

Now, when you export any Wordpress theme, the Artisteer 'by-line' will be gone.

Go to "Export" and click on the "export options" tab

Then choose "Footnote"

And uncheck "Include CMS and artiseer backlinks"

Click "OK"

And it should be gone.

Hope that made sense.

Cheers,
Sparky

I found if I edit the footer in WP and enter the following it works perfect.
