Could anyone suggest how to create our own glares for backgrounds and effects using Photoshop? Thanks in advance...

Are these to use in Artisteer? As of now, there is no mechanism to add custom glares into Artisteer.

You have to create a PNG file with an alpha channel transparency within photoshop. Then you can import the custom glare from file.

Know of any good tutorials on this? Been searching all day and have yet to find one that I can get to work.

I had a few additions to my schedule that pushed it back but I am trying to finish up a tutorial for this. I will drop in and let you know when I finish it up.

Well, thanks for the poke, the tutorial is online. I may clean it up a bit yet but it should give folks a place to start. You can use either one of these URL's to access it:

Thanks Lance, I didn't know about your site but checked it yesterday and loved the header/slogan tutorial for Joomla!

Going to check it now.
