Hi,
This software looks great! It will let me do a job I URGENTLY need to do!
If only I could install the template!!
I have tried everything suggested...
- Zipped the exported folder = No good
- Unzipped the zip file & re-zipped = No good
- If I manually upload the template files to the template dir, joomla doesnt even see it..?
Surely this is has been fixed....
Please help...

At first the Export option is described in the Artister manual:
http://www.artisteer.com/Default.aspx?p=wiki
To export your design as a Joomla template, follow the next steps:
1. Select Template > Joomla option.
2. Use Export > “Joomla Template”.
3. Specify the name and select the folder you want to export the template files to. For example C:\xampp\htdocs\MyTestJoomla\templates
Make sure that you've generated exactly Joomla Theme and this theme is exist in the ..\templates directory as a folder.
Or you can export zip arhive and install this athive as usual in Joomla -> Extensions -> Install\Uninstall
Also do yo use Joomla 1.5.x?
Good luck!

Ok lets try to write again, dont know what happened there?
I also have trouble installing templates created with Artisteer. Downloading templates and installing from the web works without a problem, only when I try to install Artisteer created templates.
Below is the error the installer throws:
-----------
Unable to write entry
Warning: file_put_contents(/var/lib/joomla15/tmp/install_49cb714a5b38e/Untitled/functions.php) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/share/joomla15/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 297
-----
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks in advance.

Found the answer:
http://www.artisteer.com/?post_id=102666&p=forum_post&forum_id=20
Seems to be a problem with the zip-packaging in Artisteer.
Save as folder, and zip it your self and it works!
Thanks.

Huh!
Dont bother contacting support!
There is a serious bug in the software which should have been fixed.
You cannot export a template as a ZIP, you need to export it to a dir and then manually zip it.

I have downloaded Artisteer on a windows XP machine. My host "BlueHost" has a linux server/ Java and PHP when I run the Artisteer.2.0.2.15338.exe, it tells me I require a .net platform on my local PC. Is there a way around this?
