Is there a way to add blocks towards the footer main area and sidebars would be closed.

You can't do that within Artsiteer itself, it would take hand editing the CSS and PHP code in order to do that.

I just started using the newest version of Artisteer a couple of days ago, and really love it! I like the fact that it comes with a footer preloaded with buttons for Contact info, etc.
However, I'm guessing you have to manually enter the code in for the footer content after uploading the theme. What would be the proper code to use to do this so that the Contact, Privacy Policy, and Terms are linked to their respective pages or email address? I'm just learning and I don't want to just play around with the code without knowing the best way to do it. Thanks!

The best way would be to create those pages in Wordpress, then copy the links to those pages within the footer.php file. Yo would replace the '#" in the links with the actual URL to the page.
You could also create javascript popups that would be much smaller windows for that data.
It really depends on if you want that content to be "inside" of Wordpress or "outside"
