I'm new to all this, but have been going forward very slowly and carefully. I used SmartFTP to transfer my files, etc. and the theme showed up in the Themes area of WordPress just fine. Yipee, I thought.
When I select and activate the theme, however, I get a hot mess. Nothing at all like the designed theme.
Here is the shot of what the theme looks like when I design it:

I read the other postings about this problem and went and checked to make sure I was doing this in binary instead of ASCII and I am.
Any ideas? Remember to speak slowly and loudly...I'm a website idiot, er, I mean newbie.

I looked at the code on your site it looks like you have a space in your template file name, I am not sue if that matters but you have http://pattinsonanonymous.com/wp-content/themes/Artiseer Theme 1/script.js
Try using http://pattinsonanonymous.com/wp-content/themes/ArtiseerTheme1/script.js
the main part is ArtiseerTheme1 try renaming you folder so that it has no spaces and re-export it and re-uoload it and see if that works, if not re-post here and someone will be able to help.

I did as you recommended (duh...I should have known better), and re-exported it and it worked.
It's the little things that mean a lot. Rookie mistake. I appreciate it.

I have designed a theme, uploaded and get no theme at all. Is there something in the export process I am missing? I export it as a folder to a specified place on my hard drive. Do I need to do it localized? Please help. I don't want to buy this product if I can't even get the demo to work!

Where did you upload the theme to?
How did you try to enable it?
Did you use the right methods of FTP? (Binary for images and ASCII for php files)
What error are you specifically getting?
