Hi,

I am using Artisteer 2.0 RC, and it works great so far for all my wordpress generated themes..

But it is still limited for certain layout design, such as to put the Search Form in the Menu Navigation (right hand side of the blog), which is most of the wordpress blog have that.

I know it will take sometime for the Artisteer to come out with this feature in future release, but I can't wait for such a long time.

Anyone know how to put the Search Form in the Menu Navigation for Artisteer generated wp themes? Appreciate if anyone can share this hacks.

Thanks again!

WordPress allows you to put the Search block in any of the sidebars you have in your design.

If you only have ONE sidebar and it is on the right, then that is where you can place it.

If you look at Artisteer, it has the options for LAYOUT/SEARCH POSITION

You can choose where the search block goes.

As far as putting it in the menu navigation, that is NOT recommended as that area is dynamic, based on the pages you have in your blog.

I understood what you mean by putting it on the same line as the menu.

If you understand coding, then create a table in the theme code where the menu appears, put the menu in the left TD tag and the search code in the right TD tag.

Or you could hire someone like me or Dan E, who have years of experience in doing this kind of work.
