The real answer is that you don't try to mix these two. This is because XSitePro is built to give a rapid website design and find online markets. In contrast, Artisteer makes for business style designs and higher website visitor conversions – at least as far as European expectations are concerned.

If you tried to mix these two applications you would fall down the cracks between them. The WYSIWYG of XSitePro would break and the style implementation of Artiseer would be incomplete and also break.

When you have systems written by machines you can always take the output of one and convert it to the other but you will not be able to maintain the resulting site in XSitePro. The native file format for storage of XSitePro sites is not open so you are trapped to using and converting the output generated.

Your XSitePro sites have to have enough profit and traffic to afford your effort/someone to do this for you. In addition the Artiseer site will have a file download overhead which will damage the SEO slightly. XSitePro is lean for a reason...

The medium term is likely to have a cut down version of Artiseer in CodeChange – they own it for a reason. CodeCharge has to be the way to go and thus XSitePro sites have to mature to dynamic online versions when they justify the cost.

A very late and speculative answer to your question but I hope that it helps others.
