I have been using v1, for a while and I really liked the ability to create blog templates, then instantly switch to website templates to be able to output both types. That way creating matching sets to use.

However, when playing with v2 beta, I noticed you can no longer do this. If you switch you lose the center blocks section of content and it will not show up no matter, if you switch from blog to site, or site to blog. Is this something being done away with in v2, or maybe just an issue I may be having.

Thanks
Bill

Read thru the other post and that was for joomla export. My problem seems to be, with v1 you can create say a template for wordpress. Then later you can use that same wordpress layout, and also export it as an html template or vice versa.
With v2, this doesnt seem to be an option. When you try to switch from html to wordpress or other way around, half the stuff is missing. Like the sidebars will be missing or the center sections missing, and cannot go in and add them or rearrange them. You have to pretty much start over and create an entire new template over again.

That was a great feature in v1 cause you could create and export someone a site template in basic html, then also export them a wordpress copy of the same template.

Is this something thats going to be eliminated with v2?
Its a great tool, and saves tons of time, but was really nice with the ability to save both versions of the files as templates.

Thanks
Bill

Hi BillH,

I don't have any problems converting wp - joomla - html templates in v2 Beta.

Maybe the issue is related to environment? Do you work on English or non-English Windows version?
Have you tried contacting Artisteer support about this?

Regards,
Caroline.

This seems to be resolved in 2.0 Beta 2
