Guys can you inform me what the new Theme CSS ID is? Most themes use the #header ID to syle the header image, others use custom ones such as #blog_pic, #header_img, #top_pic, etc, etc. The list goes on and on. not sure what Artisteer parses?

Hi Marc :)
Do you mean the link for the Articles? The large one? If so that is in Typography | Article Header | Article Link.
Does anyone know how to change the colors for the text and links at the very bottom of the page for the credits? I can do it easily in the CSS file, I just wondered if there was a place to do this in Artisteer.
By the way, this is just totally awesome :) Thank you Artisteer!

Hey Leslie
What I am looking for is the CSS ID for Header, not sure what Artisteer is parsing out i.e. what they are calling it.
Re: Your question Its in Footer Styles furthest right tab. first is Main text in Footer, second is the hyperlink colours.
Hope it helps.
And yes would agree with Leslie, you have done increadable guys...
Just wished was a way to have a single .PNG for the Header image, so that I can use http://wpimagerotator.com/documentation/#install
Check out and let me know if there is a way round it.
Thanks Marc

BRAVO! Developers you have done a great job.
Just as a test I quickly created a theme and uploaded it on my WordPress 2.7
It was flawless (well a tiny tweak on the padding and border around the images) maybe.
Absolutely love it!
Will put it through more rigorous paces tomorrow but am paying for it now :)
Thanks so much for a beautiful software.

Hi Marc,
As I see, you can set it under the
Articles > Other Elements > Headings > Heading2 > Size
though Artisteer preview does not reflect the change for some reason. Probably we need to contact support about this.
Sincerely,
Caroline.

Absolutely awesome but some work needed.
Baffled by Debbie: "Would like to see an option to remove the column section for " Support, Development, Strategy" This section is not always needed." What section where? I've never seen it.
Caz-daz - my .artx file made in v 1.0 opened in "compatablity mode." Modified and saved it; then would not open in v. 1.0
Lester this is under the HTML Template area when you select the Company Home Page option

To follow-up, the Beta version was just updated:
http://www.artisteer.com/?post_id=100674&p=forum_post
The update is available as version 2.0.0.13869 from:

To Mark:
Well, got it now! Yesterday I noticed the bug with H1/H2 heading styles not reflected on the page. But that one is already fixed in the latest Beta update. Good work!
But the permanent link to the Post heading you are referring to is not a usual H2 text, but the article's Headline link. Thus you can change its style in the:
Articles > Header > Headline > Hyperlink > Font Options
dialog.
Hope it helps.
Caroline.

do we need to uninstall old version manually ?

Marc Smith

I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't install this on a machine where you already have version 1 of Artisteer.
This is a BETA program and could have issues! if you install this it will uninstall the previous version automatically.... and you will be in demo mode. This BETA does accept your V1 serial number.
But it is a BETA. I can't stress that enough! if you are willing to install this, removing your old version, do so carefully and at your own risk.
Also, anything you make in the BETA version does not open in the V1 version.

Marc, I installed into a different directory and both version run perfectly.

The beta does not uninstall V1, it just installs into a seperate directory wiyhout issue.

Guys found a small buggett!
Hey Guys
1. Button changes doesnt overide default Button style in wordpress, this maybe intentional, however if it doesnt change default, what does it change?
2. It would be nice to override both highlighted/entered and non highlighted, default system wordpress styles for entry fields... ie the Search Entry field colors, text, etc.... any thoughts...
Also can you please share what the CSS ID for Header is that is being parsed, I cant seem to find it its not #Header, what are you calling it?
Thanks Marc

I've being waiting for Joomla support ever since coming across this product (Artisteer) before making a purchase. Just tried the V2 beta and immediately made the purchase, now cannot wait for full release.

Another small Bug Guys,
The Fixed, Scrolling option for background if you swtich to scroll and then switch back to fixed it doesnt work using latest Beta.
Thanks Marc

Guys,
Found something else with the Fixed, Scroll option for background.
If you load an image from File as background, switch from scoll to fixed, it shows the same image, both scrolling and fixed.

The button styles do not work in wordpress, in Opera, Firefox 3, or IE 7. Is just shows a standard windows button, not the one I designed.

Abcde,
I already posted that three lines up mate.
The more frustrating is unability to move the title now anywhere on the header page....

6 up.....

Guys,
Here are a list of the bugs I have captured so far:
1. Header Title unmoveable only via align function.
2. Fixed vs Scoll issue works with some images not with all.
3. When importing a background image, both fixed and scolling occur.
4. system Buttons not reflected in design.
Additional functions that would be helpful.
1. Ability to change colors, fonts, shapes to entryfields
2. Ability to change both vertical and horizontal to padding of articles
3. ability to change spacing between article and block

A lot of my links seem to be being underlined when I've specified that they not be. I haven't got any examples to offer because I keep going in and fixing them all.
Speaking of which, some image padding would be nice. I know it's easy enough to fix after the fact, which is why I don't imagine that it's a very big 'ask'.
Even with it's flaws, I'd still give the beta fifteen marks out of ten, much like it's predecessor :)

Wen I publish the horizontal main menu to user 3 and do the following:
Extensions >
Module Manager >
click on Main Menu >
and then under Menu Style in the right panel >
select Legacy-Flat List.
I have several problems.
1. the drop down sub menu's string out to the right and do not act as sub-menu's.
2. the home button now gets a 404 (page not found). I have to turn off SEF to resolve.
3. depending on the menu button icon styles chosen then image is broken with a gap.
4. After selecting the menu item it goes to the next page, but the image does not stay high lighted..
I need to tell you that this is a fantastic software product. When this come out of beta it will be my favorite software product. Thank you!!!!
