Hello all,

How do I make all the articles appear in one box. Meaning:

http://www.magnetic-products-store.com/user/temp/margines.jpg

How do I kill Margins A without killing Margins B?

A Note: I am not a programmer.

How do you enter that between the articles?

You can simply edit the exported images used for the post themselves, and add a line to the bottom of the post image that repeats horizontally. This works best, however, if your post color matches your sheet color.

If you want to use the styled post backs and a different sheet back, there's not an easy way to extend the back of your posts to stretch behind all posts instead of just each individual post. That's because all of the code is designed for individual posts. I might play around with it a bit, though to see what I can figure out. I'll let yo know if I find an easy way to do this.

Hi Sarah,

I am not a coder - and have no idea what you are talking about :(

Also, not sure I was using the best image to describe what I want, so here is a new one:

http://www.magnetic-products-store.com/user/temp/here.jpg

I want a way to separate the Articles (Posts) by a line. In the example I added a red line to the image - this is where I want the line to be. How do I do it?

Hi Eran,

I understand what you want to do. :) I just wasn't clear at explaining. If you have any type of design software you can easily achieve this.

1. Create a theme in Artisteer and choose the "Shape" option in your Article Style for to have a post style with a fill. Do one with a red border the pixel size that you'd like and slightly rounded edges.

2. Export your theme to a folder, and go into that folder and find the images associated with the post. There will be 3 to four images associated with the post. They are as follows:

post_s.png (the corners of the post)
post_h.png (the image that will repeat horizontally across the top and bottom of the post)
post_v.png (the image that will repeat vertically across both sides of the post)
post_c.png (the image or color that will fill the post)

3. All you need to do is open up the post_h.png image in a design software, cut away all except for the red line at the base (so you'll have a red line that repeats evenly across the base of the post.) then delete all other images related to post and you are done.

Hope that makes sense. That's the easiest way to do it with no code. You can also easily add some different repeatable affects to your post divider this way as well.

Sarah, thanks for that. It does look like a lot of work.

Would you know by any chance - the people at Artisteer - are they watching this forum on a regular basis?

This problem of mine is a classic example of a needed feature that this program don't have yet - after all, having a simple divider between posting is surely a very basic feature that many will appreciate.

While it may seem basic, there would be a lot of back end code to add to generate this, and I think they have their focus on other requests currently as well as bug fixes. You can always send in a support ticket though with the suggestion, and they might implement it into the next upgrade. Don't count on them to be reading the forum, though. I'd go ahead and contact them if you have a specific request.
