Paid Customer for Years

Hey Artisteer,
Is it not possible to use the Artisteer GUI, on top of the LAMP install? How hard is that? Apple did it when they adopted Linux as their OS.
I am not moving to Themler until it looks a lot like the intuitive GUI Artisteer developed, which made it so successful. Until then, staying with Artisteer, until it breaks. Won't be paying for any more bug fix updates.
And if Artisteer dies, I'll be going to it's major competition, until maybe the Themler GUI is as intuitive as Artisterr is now.
I thought is not possible, but Themler's GUI both sucks and blows.

I like to use the program the Artisteer. And I do not like Themler. Please develop the Artisteer!

Transitioning from Aristeer to Themler are not the same thing. not even close. What is the point of such a fancy tool if there are no instructions how to use it? I'm sure i'm not the only one who is struggling. Unlike Artisteer that can have a site ready in seconds just by using the recommendation button!. I would gladly pay more for an updated Artisteer.
Common back Artisteer. bring your vibrant community back online and drop Themler. I'll give them my money back and give it to you!

I just spoke with Artisteer who informed me :-
"And currently we are re-coding some routines in Artisteer to make this possible. This won’t be quick, as Artisteer currently uses an old version of Safari WebKit to display designs, which we need to replace with something newer and compatible with modern, CSS-centric designs.
But we definitely want to see a new version of Artisteer by end of the year, or possibly in a few months if all goes well.
We’re focusing on having Artisteer generate nicer, modern looking designs with an additional mini-design editor included in the generated WordPress themes (which would be a small component re-used by Themler as well)."
So things are progressing in Artisteer

I have to agree 1000% with @yahright.
read themler forum. thelmler is the money maker. why would they waste time with artisteer?
they probably made millions on themler. they don't even support artisteer forum.
move on!!!!

Why not just bite the bullet and use 'what a Joomla! theme is called' + 'what you put your bread into to make it brown' . It has come a LONG way and is being continually and frequently updated. Downside is that it doesn't handle all the CMSs that ART does, but it does the 'main ones'.

Totally agree with James Roland.
In this quick, continues changing market called the WEB, Artisteer isn't working as well as the define-how-brown-your-morning-bread needs to be.
I've been quietly changed my preferred design application, but still visit this forum once in a while.
Seeing that it's been more than a year that I needed to upgrade for a not-upgraded package, made me conclude that I did well spending my money on the tastier bread-being-browned supplier...
