How to make front page different layout |

Hey all..
I have a customer who wants a large image on their front page (tried to talk them out of it, no go) and that's the portal to the rest of the website ...front page graphic only, other pages, sidebars/headers/backgrounds/content etc...
how do i set that up in artisteer?
