Quote PaoloDB:

One of the things that annoys me most is the fact that, when you open a website developed with Artisteer on a smartphone (and probably small tablets), the standard desktop layout is shown for a while, then it switches to the correct responsive mode.

I have tried to fasten the page loading time by moving the links to stylesheets and javascript libraries from function.php to header.php but to no avail.

I have also tried to replace the standard responsive menu with a jQuery plugin, deleting the hmenu script from script.responsive.js but again, no result.

While I undertstand that Artisteer has its defects, I would like to know if anyone has found a way to prevent or at least reduce this "jump" from desktop to responsive layout.

Thanks,

Paolo

Which templates do you use? I have had similar issues too, so I decided to buy some good templates instead. I can't wait for those LearnDash themes from https://www.templatemonster.com/learndash-wordpress-themes/ to come out so I can use them. Check them out too, maybe you will like them
