Editing CSS and template.info?

Hi all,

I'm quite new to using Artisteer and I'm having some trouble customizing my template.
There are basically 3 things I'm trying to achieve;
- I want to give the content field (or right sidebar) a transparent background color, but just the content field only. Not the entire page.
- I want to add a block within the header that's positioned precisely above the vertical menu bar on the left.
- I want the background image to stretch depending on the browser size but to maintain it's aspect ratio.

I searched for all of these items and in all topics they speak of customizing the style.css and template.info files. Is there a way of doing this while the template is in the making or does everything need to be done after it has been exported? I'm not really an experienced technical webdesigner (hence why I bought this software) and don't know all css codes from my head or how to use everything properly without having direct feedback of the result it creates.

How does one go at changing this? And if I have to make these changes post-export, is there a way to 'reverse' import them back into Artisteer?

Any help is appreciated. :-)
