3 narrow columns - how to create? |

Hi There,
I'm trying to create a layout that uses three narrow columns (1 picture and a bit of text in each), but I'm not having much luck - can anyone help please?
What I'm trying to achieve is something similar to this:

I can get something similar by using a layout of 1 row with 5 columns, utilising the middle three and leaving the outer ones blank . This is fine, but when in responsive view it does not work well, as it includes the empty columns and as such just does not look right at all when reduced for tablet and phone!
Has anyone got a solution? Any help would be gratefully received.
