Hi, please help. I have designed several beautiful themes in Artisteer 4.3 on my old laptop. The old laptop cannot work well with Themeler. Now I have a new laptop on which I want to use Themeler. I want to stop using Artisteer on my old computer and then use it on the new computer.

Please how can I move all the themes I have designed on my old laptop to a new Artisteer installation on my new laptop without losing the themes? Please I am not talking about the themes I have exported, neither am I talking about Artisteer projects (.artx files) I am talking about the themes in the "Themes" tab found only when Artisteer is opened.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Sorry, the question is not clear. You mean the Themes tab in your BillionDigital account? If yes, then all the themes you have saved online will remain in the database on themler.com. If you mean the desktop version, then you need to export those templates as the .zip templates, then you will be able to import them into Themler desktop application on your new computer.

Best regards,
Tanya

Hello Tanya, thanks for replying. I mean the "Color Themes" in Artisteer (Windows desktop version). In Artisteer, you go to "Colors & Fonts >> Color Themes. There you find a lot of already made color themes. I have also saved many custom color themes there (which Artisteer folder contains those themes?". Those custom themes I have saved are the ones I want to move. I want to consider if it will be possible to move any Artisteer folder 'A' from the old laptop to replace another artisteer folder 'A' on my new laptop. If moving a folder 'A' to replace another folder 'A' will work, then I would like to know which Artisteer folder on my old laptop to move. If that is not possible, then I will use the export method you suggested.

, I could move some folder from my old laptop to replace an existing folder in the new Artisteer installation. So that when I open artisteer,

Hello.
the custom color schemes are stored in file
c:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Artisteer\Artisteer4\Library\Lists\ColorPalette.xml

You may copy this file to new Artisteer location.
