Social Media Icons Not Located In Joomla After Template Exported |

I created a template using Artisteer 4.2 and inserted social media logos such as Facebook & Linkedin in the footer area. Then I exported the template to Joomla Joomla! 3.4.1. When I tested the site, it shows the icon and the links to these two social sites as expected. My issue is when I want to edit the footer containing both the label and the icons in Joomla (not in Artisteer). The footer block was exported to Joomla as a module type Custom HTML and was named Footer1. However, when a inspect the content, only the label text "Follow me.." appears there. The icons are not shown and the html code does not show the hyperlinks either. Question is, where do I find the social media icons and their corresponding links in the footer in Joomla? Thanks for your anticipated help.
