Should Artisteer be given a second chance?

I am having a difficult time convincing myself that the new "facelift" and product themeless, (opps, spell check, :] ) themler :-@ will be any better than the attempts of the past to develop and sustain a (good) product for the long term.

At the time I pointed out all these issues and was ignored, I purchased the top tier product at the time and even purchased an update, but was consistently disappointed.

(I was literally embarrassed to submit any of the products for consumption, indeed no one wanted them)

When given away for free they would complain about how the themes did not work.

(OK ok, I understand, things were a mess)

Butt, it seemed like they never really learned the lesson to be learned from the mistakes they made and there were a lot of them.

(I do admit that I like the idea of using bootstrap,) (foundation and node.js or quite a number of other technologies might have been a better choice, but hey, I get it)

I also like the idea of having visual resources, but I don't like getting burned twice or in this case three times.

Now I purchased the MAC version, (((

I would say that since they were never able to bring to the table a decent version for the MAC, I would say that they should probably avoid trying to do things they don't know how to do well.

Which again makes me wonder Are they really able to do what they are presenting.

OR is this yet another Pie in the Sky promise that will end up in the dust on a back street alley in New York.

I have completely moved on, so I blew close to $250.00 and the software is still useless, why should I consider a new product regardless of how many shiny buttons it has?

Well I code by hand usually using Notepad++ but used Artisteer standard to try and get people at my work doing their own website as they don't know html5, css, javascript or other languages. I am starting to think I wasted my money and should of bought a different product one which was going to concentrate on just making the one product better. I will give Themler a try bbut whatI have read is to export the Artisteer theme as a Themler export type.

Starting to get complicated using two different pieces to do the one site may as well just keep doing the website for them and code by hand.

I'm a techie (rather than a creative), and I've used Artisteer to design dozens of WordPress websites in the past, but have found the way it worked as a desktop app targeting different CMSs a little limiting.

I've just updated to the latest version of Themler and am looking forward to working inside the CMS, and easily being able to bring my past work up to date with proper Responsiveness and other enhancements. I believe this is done by exporting the themes from Artisteer as a Themler theme, then working with Themler directly inside the WordPress (in my case) website admin area.

Of course, I haven't yet actually done any of this, but hopefully it'll be straightforward enough...
