For me it's important to have updated application, and windows native
welcome themeler windows

Hmmm still looks like a web app to me.
Why the menu on the side? Why not make it look like a real windows program?
You know like Photoshop or say Artisteer?

when can we try it

Good. The cloud solution just isn't feasible with the resources the application requires.
Hopefully those who have valid licences receive a licence transfer or at least a very hefty discount.

Will be interested in seeing the final product. Tested the online solution, as Peter mentioned, way too slow for serious work.

They have some prototype and screenshots. I wait for this too.

They improved speed much, but not in all segments, and saving is killing. Everything from 10 to 60 seconds. Desktop version would fix all those problems, I believe.

i hope themler is good but unusable, we ned a fast desktop application

bah let them shoot themselves in the foot.
I wouldn't count on a desktop version, it would still be hooked into the subscription BS.
Adobe doesn't reside on my machine anymore because of this.
As much as I enjoy working with Artisteer I certainly am not willing to pay a subscription fee for it. Let alone something that is slow and cumbersome.
there are other options...

@ Jimmy
I think what dc is looking for is to buy software in the traditional sense and not get forced into a subscription service. You know, you pay once and keep using that version until you decide to upgrade or move onto something else.
If we look at the Themler model, the day your subscription ends is the same day your app stops working.
I know a few people who bought Artisteer 4.1 and that's what they've used since 2013. They have no intention of upgrading but if they do, they do so on their terms. I don't see anything wrong with wanting or preferring this model. It doesn't mean dc wants a free ride.
I refuse to buy into a software subscription model and dc is right. There are a lot of choice and alternatives.

the important thing is to have a program to create themes compatible with ecommerce temler but as fast as artisteeer , I think it will work as artisteer at the end of the subscription

I bought and use Artisteer together with EZ Generator to make templates for that excellent web software. I REFUSE to pay a subscription model for ANY software and HATE cloud-based software.
Perhaps I am old school, but I like buying a program, installing it and using it - OFFLINE if I want and as a self-contained program on my system.
I will NEVER use any cloud-based software. If Artisteer ends with v4.x.x with no option of upgrading then I guess I am stuck with it until it no longer works for me.
As was said above, there are other options and it is truly a shame that the people behind Artisteer abandoned it.

It is what it is. The CMS platforms update often and I don't know how else you are going to keep a piece of software updated without paying developers. You can buy Photoshop and never need to upgrade it. The jpg format has not changed since I know of. It's not something you can compare to that.
If you are actively are working on a CMS platform it's an expense that is part of the whole scheme. I just don't understand people who want these things and pay a one time fee and expect the programs updated for them.
I am fully onboard with the NO cloud part. That is a huge problem and they probably know it's not going to work for most people.
From what I can tell Artisteer turned left when it should of turned right. I do not know why they are not fixing that mistake but they are super secretive so who even knows what they are going to do. Honestly, if Themler gets a desktop version and it's got the features, gets updated, has good support and can import the artx files I am fine with a subscription. It's not a lot of money for what it does. It's not a lot of money period.
I decided to back them and not criticize them, they have provided some good support. Artisteer is not perfect though, but what alternatives are there for Joomla? I do not know of any. Can you list some?

Themler is not for work on cloud. I am a bit wiser now.
But yes, you can do all your themes on cloud if you wish.
There is no sync option with your websites, so there is no point in making themes on cloud.
Edit theme inside your CMS, when you finish copy theme somewhere as backup. You can pick that teme anytime and edit it again. It will be updated with latest Themler code. You can send it to a friend and he can continue to work on it. Needs Themler licence of course. Works via browser cookies and login.
Second thing, working alone on localhost or your servers is uncomparable time faster, saving specially. Can witness it first hand.
I really cannot, and have no lust, to list here all things that Themler has and Artisteer doesnt. What it can and Artisteer cannot do.
They are to many. Dont lose time here, register on Themler forum and vote for new features. Each day here is lost day.

@www: You are clueless as they come. If you create/edit your themes in your cms, you are still using the cloud.
Here, try this genius... Try creating a theme on a localhost, with no internet, and see where it gets you.

Uh... I regularly create themes on localhost with no internet connection. What the hell are you talking about? LOL

Of course. But the same is with Artisteer and server connection when exporting themes.
Think twice before you write.
Besides soon comes desktop version.
I see you just make pointless excuses.
Regarding real topic.
Just working on some clever workaround in Themler to get homepage layout all those fancy WordPress themes have. Unlimited possibilities. Will write on support forum there how to do it.
And real beauty is it works perfectly for responsive and small devices without touching responsive CSS file. I love Bootstrap in Themler.
Almost 70%-90% of feature requests here on forum are implemented in Themler. Dont know what you wait anymore ?
