@Skip

To defend artisteer support, I do believe this is in the wrong forum as this is "feature ideas and suggestions."

If you are wanting help with this I think I would have put this in the" General" forum.

Anyway, this type of web design can be created in artisteer. It's very simple and 1 added class is all it took. No, there aren't any buttons or check boxes within artisteer to make this happen like many artisteer user are asking for but in the example that I provided you can see it works pretty good.

My example is also responsive ready whereas your website you referenced is not.
That said, I simply threw this together as an educational template and did not do all the styling or formatting in desktop and responsive views but this does give you an idea of how to do this type of template. There are many ways to create this template style in artisteer but this is the simplest.

So let me give you a quick overview.
1. Nav at the top [size as you wish]
2. header right below the nav and is transparent. [insert a shape for text or use the headline]
3. Then comes the content. Content is setup in a row and you can style as you wish.
while editing the content per row I added <div class="row-inner"> etc. so that I can format the row as the template is setup as fluid. each row has an ID and is setup in artisteer under the row/HTML section.
4. Then the footer. the footer is setup in 2 rows with different colors. Both being centered.

Custom css that I used.
.art-post {padding:0!important;}
#row-1 {background:#f8ca00;min-height:200px;}
#row-2 {background:#FFFFFF;min-height:300px;}
#row-3 {background:#8a9b0f;min-height:300px;}
#row-4 {background:f8ca00 !important;}

.art-post {padding:0!important;}
.row-inner {width: 1000px;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
.responsive .row-inner {width:100%!important;}
.art-footer .art-content-layout {min-height: 200px;}
.art-footer .art-content-layout#footer-row2 {min-height:70px!important;}
.art-footer {margin: 0 auto 0 !important;}

You can also download the artx for further education, which supports artisteer 4.3

Hey thanks for pointing that out about me posting this in the wrong area, not too sure it would have mattered though, but yea. And unfortunately, I went to try your demo, but it would not work with my version, I have the version before this last version, didn't upgrade. :(

jrgweb

I just clicked on this thread and wanted to thank you for taking the time to post your instructions above, and for linking to the .artx file also.

I for one found it really useful.

@Skip
The slideshow is a CSS fullpage background slideshow. It was all done within artisteer.
The timing for the slideshow is with css keyframes.

What version of 4.1 are you using?
