Can you please give some advice as to how I can add a slideshow in Art 4.1?

Blue sky, please switch to the Header tab and select Slideshow -> New Slide. Add as many slides as needed.
You can control how the Slideshow appears and plays to your viewers via the Slideshow section in the Header tab.

Slide show doesn't work in page width header.
Change it to sheet width to get the options back.
You can then just a background image to get the same effect as as full width header.
