Adding the date to my posts |

Hey Guys,
I've got a site which I used 4.1.0.59861 to build a theme.
I turned off the date info however on one of the pages of my site I need to display posts (like a news page)
How can I add the date so my page displays like:
Title
Date
Content
I've tried adding date to the before tag in content but I'm not sure if its doing the right thing - I need to show the actual date not an image...
Any ideas?
