Trying to change the description in the browser tab
from: UCLA Orthopaedic Hospital
to: Center for Cerebral Palsy at UCLA.

I checked in:
Settings>general: Center for Cerebral Palsy at UCLA (this is correct).
Appearance>Customize>Site Tag & Title: Center for Cerebral Palsy at UCLA (this is correct).
Editor: <title><?php wp_title( '|', true, 'right' ); ?></title>

Also, I did a ctrl/F5 to make sure I'm clear, but alas.

Site is: uclaccp.org
Tab still incorrectly says: UCLA Orthopaedic Hospital Center for Cerebral Palsy

Where else can I look?
Thanks

Hello,
the title of the page that is displayed on browser tab could be changed in Artisteer under Page >> Properties >> General >> Title

After that you need to re-export template with content.

Hmmm... tried that just now, but the tab is still incorrect.
I've seen that a couple of other folks have had the same prob, but none of those solutions worked on this site.
BTW, I was able to change this tab in a different site that I also created with Artisteer.
Oddd... More ideas?
Thanks...

In Artisteer, I just now tried a Preview in Browser, and tried FF, IE and CH. They ALL appear CORRECTLY. But once uploaded to the server and opened in each of those browsers, they are ALL incorrect.
Do you know if perhaps the latest v of WP has a problem?

There are several ways to impact this:

You can use WordPress and go into Appearance, Menus, create your menu there or edit your pre-existing menu. In the space that is blank next to the name for each page you can add whatever text you want, which is usually good for SEO.

You can also change the site title by going into WordPress settings and changing the actual name of the site itself there, which should over ride the Artisteer theme.

And then if you download All in One SEO Pack, you can also change page titles there very easily as well, but every time you change a page title you still have to remember to do it in the menu or else it won't show completelely.

I have created a theme from one of Artisteer's samples, and I can't stop the title in Firefox from showing 'SnackHouse'. Where in Artisteer is 'Page>>Properties....'? I'm using Artisteer 4.3 and cannot find any tab or menu item called 'Page'.

I've exported the file and searched the entire folder with PSPad for the term 'SnackHouse' and it's not in any files I upload - at least, not in plain text. It's quite a mystery to me!

As well as that, for some reason the rows and columns won't display in FireFox 40.02, yet display perfectly in Microsoft Edge. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Russell

I think what Eileen meant was in the left hand area of artisteer right click the page you want to change the title. From dropdown select properties. Then in the general section make change under title
