In Artisteer 4.2+ please try using Header->Controls->Imagelink option

Tina,

Will this also work if I want to add a video to the header area as well?

Going to Edit and trying to add one through that menu does not seem to do the job.

Or go to Header, Controls, Image Link? Or is this just for image insertion?

Hi Dave,
you may try to add Shape to Header and edit it via 'Edit Source HTML'. So you may insert custom code that outputs images or video.
It should work.

Eileen,

Can you help? I tried exactly as you said and it did not work.
An image of the video did appear while in ARTX file mode but even after I saved it several times and then did a browser preview, nothing appeared, just empty space where the video should have been. Can you help me? I've always wanted to be able to put a video intro in the header section and to date nothing has ever worked.

Hi Dave,

Please contact Artisteer support via this link http://www.artisteer.com/?p=support with your .artx project so we can investigate the issue.

Thanks,

I did try this and the video does appear but only in some browsers. It does not appear in Firefox (and I've checked every setting I can find and nothing makes it visible thus far) and some older browsers. So, unless a specific client wants a video in a header area, it does not seem like a god idea since some browsers won't display it.
