Sorry for the late response! I've just accidentally run into your post and read the links you mentioned. I didn't have an opportunity to test the solutions described in the link, but it's really great that there are such workarounds available.
As for the status of development of one page templates in Artisteer - I don't have a full information on this matter, but as far as I know, this feature is not being developed for the next update of Artisteer.
However, I saw some plug-ins for different CMSs that provide such a functionality. You can google "one page template plug-in CMS_name" to find such plug-ins and try to use them.
