I subscribe to an automated backup system for my Joomla websites and this one file modules.js (located in the artisteer template folder) is being flagged as being updated even though I have not changed anything and I am the only person that can login to the site?

When I look at the file it's blank?

My site was hacked a few weeks ago and since then the site has been upgraded to Joomla 3.x from 1.6 (old site) and I am worried something malicious is going on.

Not only on a daily basis, but even more times a day it changes.
If I remove it, it'll be created.
This is annoying and it also gives me the idea there is something fishy..

What is it and hwo can I avoid it?

Hey guys, I agree: I have the same problem.
My Hoster uses a "siteguard logfile" and sends me a log every morning: WIth hundreds of changes for the "modules.js".
I daily have to check all these entries if there is really a hack of my websites - very annoying...

Please fix it, thank you...!

I've just been searching for an answer to this query and found this thread. I can raise a support request but if you have an explanation it would be helpful to post here.
