Hey!

Is there anyone here who always do their entire design in Photoshop first before they go over to Artisteer for the code?

I normally code my designs by hand but I'm so sick of it now and I have owned my Artisteer copy since 2011 and it've developed a lot since 2011.

I want to continue designing my websites with PS because I love it but is there any point?

I am grateful for all the answers!

Thanks in advance!

I stopped coding websites in PS in 2005 - never missed it for 1 second.

CSS works for me...and current HTML 5 dev is promising

ermmm. not sure i understand as i'm assuming proficiency on your part.

Having said that if you right click on any Artisteer section or content block you can 'easily' paste your PS slice code into the Artisteer HTML.

is it possible to write my own CSS code through Artisteer?

Again, not sure that i understand the question but yes, right clicking and editing Artisteer's css code for sections, additional styles or entire pages is possible. After Export it gets even better in WP..

Oops, what am I doing in User Tips. Arrghhhhhhh. Apologies. Wrong forum!

Thanks for your response !

I try right clicking everywhere and I found the HTML editor but not CSS.

Nowadays you don't edit through HTML, you do it through CSS.

I need a CSS editor :(

By the way, Jonas, my partner will often do interface design in Photoshop that I slice or translate into a site via Artisteer. It can be very efficient for us to do it that way, and I actually like that she thinks outside of the Artisteer "box," challenging me to figure out to achieve her design!
