Hello -
How would I go about extracting or creating the following site as an artisteer template?

I've no idea but it looks like you could just create a simple Artisteer Template with 3 Rows for the Content. plus Horizontal NAV Bar, Header on Top and Footer at Bottom.
Maybe I missed something - i have done most of my life...

This is really easy to do in artisteer.
Background color is purple
The green color is an image
The arts is also an image
The sheet has a white background floated to the left with a left and top margin of 20px
The header has a logo, a headline and slogan and an image and search control.
The sheet is two column with the smallest on the right.
Footer at the bottom.

Hello,
For extracting or creating the ncarts site as an artisteer template keep remember that eEvery page can be connected with many CSS files. In a case where definitions from various files stay in conflict, definitions from the last connected file will have top priority. Connecting your file as the last one gives you confidence that your changes will cover the original definitions generated by Artisteer.
The mentioned example is really good. Better helps for understanding. If you are looking for HTML templates than visit this article you must find some good quality content for it. http://www.favouritehobbies.com/top-6-html-conversion-templates
