Hi, our website has e very typical design and we don't want the design to be responsive for tablets, because it messes up our design.

But for smartphones, we would like to keep using it. Does anyone know how I can disable responsive design only for tablets, and not for smartphones?

I have been having similar issues when the screen size reaches a certain point it just goes horrible (tablet size) then when it reaches mobile size it displays fine. Then when i look at the samples on the artisteer website and resize them they all work how they should do as to why mine doesn't its quite puzzling unless there samples are hand tweaked.

Anyways locate your template responsive css (Template css folder)

Around line 83.

You should have about 6 lines that go something like this;

@media all and (max-width: 768px)
{
#abi-resp, #abi-resp-t { display: block; }
#abi-resp-m { display: none; }
}

@media all and (max-width: 480px)
{
#abi-resp, #abi-resp-m { display: block; }
#abi-resp-t { display: none; }
}

Play with the max width sizes untill your happy.

Worth noting too (as this is in the Joomla section after all) that there are several plugins that allow for detection of device and switch to the selected template (giving you full control over what device sees what).

Of course that means making mobile templates again, which kind of invalidates the responsive idea...

@Gyroman thank you! I just deleted the whole 'max width 1107px' setting and now it's much better :-)

Do you maybe know how to change the order of the responsive design? I don't want the module blocks of the left column to show up first, I want to start with the content/article area right after the menu... Any ideas?
