When I export a template from Artisteer without the "include Content' box ticked, I have no problems.
But
Whenever I export with the content, then when I try to edit the Template in Joomla, I get the following instead of the normal options:

The post of Dylan is not clear to me but the title describes exactly what I'm experiencing.
I just upgraded to Artisteer version 4.1 and exported a template for Joomla 2.5-3.0. In Joomla (v3.10) the header and the slogan were missing but that is what I expected. These should be set in Joomla under template management - basic options. But the basic options do not appear when I do an export with content included. Although when I did the export without content, the basic options were available.

It's a sign from the CMS gods to NOT create content in Artisteer. lol

The headline/slogan created in an Artisteer template is not exported, only the css style and position is. You have to reenter your headline/slogan in joomla. See http://www.artisteer.com/?p=help_joomla#joomla5

Thanks Tony, we all know that how to enter Headline and Slogan !

The problem is that we dont have the OPTION in the Browser, so we can´t enter Headline and Slogan, there is no tab option to select in the template menu !!!!!!! Try it with Joomla 3.1.1 the you will see it ...

I put a ticket in on this.

Joomla 3.1 is not yet supported. They are looking in to it.

Had to go back to 2.5.

:-D

Same Issues here, I found Joomla 2.5 works best, I had issues with the export plugin V1.2 Joomla plugin, so I uninstalled the plugin and V1.0 Joomla plugin works fine, but not with V3 Joomla (Are You Following this, I hope) My overall issues were becuase the templates has become unresponsive.

I placed a support ticket with artisteer and was sent a link to download a later unreleased Artisteer (v.4.1.0.60046), which corrected the V1.2 Joomla export Plugin. Once again my templates were responsive and the issue with Joomla 3 download content seems to be resolved the options were showing, but not all imports work as they should.

I'm not convinced its Joomla V3 compatible yet as still had one or two issues, but :-X

Seems no update here from the Artisteer Dudes?
Anyone heared from that ticket ?
Did anyone of the Artisteer Staff had an eye in this issue?
I am having the experience in Joomla 3.1 and true, no options for Header etc... as well as the button for import content is missing. I know it is unsporty to procude content in Artisteer and dump it in but it is very good for Mockups and i need it badly to simulate Results ....

Yup, same here. Using Artisteer 4.1, Joomla 3.1, some articles, header styles and slogan not imported. Everything else OK.

If you do not export the content, and load the template when you click on the template name and then there is an option tab which allows the headline and slogan to be entered

As Peter suggested, don't export the content and the options tab does appear when you edit the template in Joomla 3.1.1

This version Helped with my problem on the missing basic options menu etc. ..... Hope it helps u guys as it did for me! I made a templete in Artisteer V.4.1.0.59861, zimpado exported it, but i can not install in Joomla 2.5

Give ERROR:
Could not find the installation package
There was an error uploading this file to the server.

DIRECTORY, tmp has 755 permission was then tried with 777, the error persists.

I believe the Artisteer V.4.1.0.59861 does the install file for this templete joomla 2.5 version, will I have to manually install or manually'm getting because I sent templete files by ftp, does not appear in the managed theme in Joomla, I can see that the files manually put the directory templete.

Will have to manually create an XML aquivo?

I also have the problem that the content is not included in my export, this is very annoying, how can it be solved!

I don't understand why ppl would like to include the artisteer content in their Joomla! templates as this is the primary purpose of Joomla! : it's a CONTENT management system.

I understand that ppl like to use Artisteer as a content-manager for plain HTML website, but I think they miss the point of a CMS.
