Try adding the following code to the Export Options >> CSS Options:
#art-main
{
z-index: 0;
}

This was an issue I ran into. It seems that the z-index for art-main is causing some issue/conflict with the DNN7 menu CSS. Both CSS files not mutually exclusive, and the drop down for adding modules is actually coming up behind the first drop down. I confirmed this fix with Artisteer support, and it worked like a champ for me. (although I would hope they fix this). It seems that this version of Artisteer was not fully ready for prime time in regards to DNN7.

Good Luck. Hope it works for you.

Spoynor - I am using DNN7 community. I can't seem to find Export Options>> CSS Options. Can you offer more direction?

Thank you

This is no longer working.
Strange thing is that when I'm logged in as host and first click on HOST in the menu, I get all the drop down menus of the CONTROLBAR.
But when I first click on "Admin" or any page on my site, I no longer get the dropdowns from the CONTROLBAR....

A skin created for DNN 7.0.5 - 7.1.1 should work just fine without having to edit anything, with that said, once you personally start editing code (skin.css, or changing in Artisteer -Export-options-css options) on your own this issue pops up, if you have not edited the code, I suggest re-importing the skin.

It is a z-index issue

As you go to export your skin you can select EXPORT -> OPTIONS -> CSS Options and change this, as DNN sits on z-index 904 and the control bar much higher up, I would think setting your z-index lower to say 10 or 0 would fix the issue.

The only issue I have really noticed every time is the space between the DNN admin control bar and the skin it self.
