Talk to support before anything else. That said, I think, that you have to uninstall Artisteer from your old computer first, and then install it in the new computer. So, if I'm correct, it will deactivate itself on the old computer, and re activate it in the new one.

"Can I use a single license on more than one computer?

A single Artisteer license can be used only on a single desktop computer (PC) OR a single laptop computer. An additional installation is allowed on a laptop for use during travel, and cannot be used at a separate permanent location or by a different person than the registered desktop user. Installation on two desktops or two laptops, or use by multiple persons requires the purchase of additional licences, one per person and location."

I'm confused about this.

This is off the FAQs page. The first sentence in the paragraph says: "a single desktop computer OR a single laptop".

How ever the second sentence says: " An additional installation is allowed on a laptop for use during travel"

So which is it? The first sentence clearly says you CAN'T install in more then 1 PC or Laptop, but yet the second sentence says you CAN install on a laptop for travel? This doesn't make any sense. How can you install it on a laptop when you are traveling but yet you aren't allowed to install it in a second location in the first place?

Hi

As I understand it you can install Artisteer twice, the licence key is revoked on a third attempt, I know this because I installed Artisteer 3.1 on my machine after a clean install, and then attempted to run several applications. My system kept crashing so I re-installed windows and re-installed Artisteer, with no issues I might ad from Artisteer, but then my system started crashing. Again I chose to completely dump everything for a complete re-installation from by backup HDD as preconfigured by HP, but when I tried to install Artisteer again, I ran into problems as the licence was revoked, a quick email to support and the problem was resolved.

Therefore, I think you are entitled to install Artisteer twice one one Desktop and one Laptop under the proviso that you are the only user.

No response from support all day on this. Is this normal?
Hard drive has gone down. Installed on new pc no luck.

I fear I will not get a response from support and have purchase software I cannot use. Let this be a warning to you!

Maybe there's a problem with your pc? The first step I would do if I were you is trying to find a good antivirus and I think I would read more https://bestantiviruspro.org/review/norton-antivirus-review/ about Norton 360 Antivirus because it seems to be a good variant. However, it should be also checked. I think that your problem may be connected to the viruses.

You are allowed two installs on different machines. You cannot use both machines at the same time. One is for fixed base use, and the other machine is for travel.
