O, man i cannot agree with these guys enough, i like artisteer, and i like where you were headed with all these new features, but the auto generated menu names need to go away, also when you specify a page name in the program it should show up as html article title, besides these 2 things, great program

You can edit the 'alias' of any existing items in the Joomla menu manager (and rename the menu if you want from ct-whatever, to a nice clear 'menu' too). just go to the menu manager, click to edit the item, and rename the alias field to what you would like it to be.
The 'alias' is the text you will see in your browser when all done...

Where is the "Menu Manager"? The Menu on top File menu does not have anything called Manager that I can see.
Does anyone know also how to put a Text name for the Front Page which is not in a back round image. This is also an SEO problem. The Front page and all pages should be titled with TEXT so that SEO is optimized. How can I add a Text based name to a title page in a separate header with an image slider? This way SEO can be optimized.

The menu manager is in your Joomla backend, which is where you can change link names etc, and to be clear this is not in artisteer.

The problem is that you have to change those names every time when you import the data from artisteer. Thats a very time consuming work.

Would be good to be able to change within Artisteer

Artisteer is your layout tool, Joomla is your content creation tool. For some reason, Artisteer has decided to waste effort making it create content as well, but it's not primarily for that.

This, also, is achieved very simply in the backend of Joomla - that's what it's best for. You'll find it in your Menu Manager (in Joomla) under Page Options.
Content creation in Artisteer - IMHO, the worst tangent they've taken in the 4 years I've been using it. Joomla does a much better, faster, cleaner, more powerful job of it.

I have some issue with the created " ct-menu-item-"-Links the artisteer automatic generates.
I'd like to have a clear name like "xyz.html" not the "ct-menu-item-3.html" if I switch to SEO URLS.
Thanks in forward

Well, I guess I was one of those guys that was duped into buying software that really is no longer supported. If you don't know what these guys here in this thread are talking about 4 years ago and it hasn't been solved, then you ought to look for some other software to build your website(s).
