Hi Guys,

I have thumbnails that link to larger images, I want the larger images to show the default lightbox, how can I do that?

As of now the latest releases do not work. The lightbox image is the same size as the thumbnail size. If that's what you are talking about. I am not sure what release this stopped working at. Support says "on the list".

Otherwise when it does work, you insert the full size image and then set the thumbnail size in the dimensions. This will then open up the full size image you used. I also believe it's browser window size dependent as well. So the lightbox will not be larger than the browser window no matter how large the image is.

Is that what you are talking about?

I know I'm bringing back a very old post here, but I'm making an art site and I was hoping that this perhaps might have been fixed ?

It is with the last 2 releases.

Not sure about the smartphone on the one they just released. I haven't installed the new version, too many people reporting problems. The previous version worked on a computer but the images were smaller than the original on my phone. What's the point, either disable it in responsive or fix it.

Hi to all,
if i understood well, Murtez, you have my same problem.

I have a great number of images (200 or more pics).
At 400x600 each image is 400kb and this value don't change if i set 100x150px in the html page. So my page needs long time to load.
Solution is to display thumbnails 100x150 (100kb) in the main page and, on click, show the fullsize image.

But lightbox seems not to work in this way.
Is there someone that have an idea to how to display a small image in page and, on click, load a big image in lightbox??

P.S. Sorry for my english... I did my best :-)

You have to insert the full size images in your content then using the image option panel to resize the image to a thumbnail and have preview set to yes. Then upon export Artisteer will generate a thumbnail and only load that until the thumbnail is clicked which loads the large images in lightbox.

Thank you Jimmy.

Effectively Artisteer provides alone to create the thumbnails.
I noticed one thing, say to those who would serve:

Clicking an image with the class "lightbox" JQuery script seeking the same image with postfix "-large" to display.
So if you need to add an image to your project manually, save the full size image with the name "myimage-large.jpg" then create a thumbnail and save it with the name "myimage.jpg" in the same path. Now you can use "myimage.jpg" in your project and "lightbox" will show the image "myimage-large.jpg"
