I am planning on relocating to St. George Utah or near there next year. I noticed there were quite a few Artisteer sites ( wordpress and joomla ) created for people around St. George.

I would like to start building up some contacts and maybe get some info about High Speed Internet Services and such. I really hate to move somewhere with crappy internet.

I'm on the other side of the country, but have a friend who lives in Utah. I'll find out how close they are to St. George and if she can help you with the data speed questions, at least.

Thanks,

I really need to know what areas to look in for property. I know St. George has Wireless Hot spots for free in the city, jut not sure outside of the city.

I just returned from my vacation from there! AND I lived there for 12 years.

You'll be all set with hi-speed internet and you'll love the area (as long as you like the heat.) :)

Hi Tinanne,

It will take me a while to get used to it again I think. I lived in New York for a while now. Tired of the snow and cold but will miss the how everything is so green here.

Do all the surrounding areas like Bloomington Hills, Laverkin, Hurricane and others have high speed also or just in the city?

Any recommendations to which area to look for property? Would like something about 3000+ sq foot and about 1 acre land.

Thanks for the Info.

I am not sure about Laverkin, but I lived in Hurricane, Washington, St.George and Bloomington Hills and had hi-speed. I know lots of Realtors and builders in the area and would be happy to give you a couple of recommendations. Should I leave them here or should I send you the info privately. Either one works for me. :)

That would be great tinanne.

you can just send a email to temp@justforblogs.com when you get a chance if you would.

I know it is very hot there from like May to September. How would you say the city of St. George is? Does it seem clean and kept up to date which it looks like or does it seem rundown?

What about the economy? It seems like the stats show lower then average unemployment and cost of living is about the same or less then where I am with average salaries higher there. Luckily I can run my business from anywhere so that is not really a concern but would like a better area to live.

Now there are many companies that deal with apartment moves, but not all of them can be reliable. In this case, you will entrust your personal belongings to strangers. I recommend you go to the company https://californiamoversusa.com/resources/how-to-pack-shoes-for-moving/ , which I myself have already turned to several times. I can say that they are very responsible approach to their work.
