Blogger navbar moves to sidebar

I am new to Artisteer and hoping that my problem will be familiar to somebody. If you could suggest some solutions I'd be really graeful.

I have created a few templates while practicing how to use Artisteer and everything was going fine - the templates looked exactly as I'd created them - no problems. The only issue was that bx error that Blogger had been giving for a while when trying to make new template changes...but I found a way round that.

Fast forward one week, to today. Now it seems that Blogger have fixed the issue that was causing the bx errors when trying to save a template with different widgets...BUT my templates (which worked last week) now have problems with the nav bar appearing in the sidebar instead of the top of the page.

When I install the template I'm told my new template does not contain widget x, y, z and then I choose to keep them (since I do want a nav bar etc). So then it puts all those widgets including the navbar in my sidebar.

Now my html skills aren't fabulous but I know enough to try a few things out. I've unlocked the navbar and tried to move it but I can't figure out how to put it back to the top of the page....and sadly I can't find an answer anywhere on the net. I've also tried a different template and creating a new test blog but the issues are the same no matter what I try.

Funny how Blogger fix one issue and then another one crops up! Is there anybody who can help with this please? Thanks in advance.

Just to add some more info, I have selected "yes" for the "display navbar" option.

Solved...ended up having to move it manually which was a bit annoying.

New problem - menu bar doesn't display correctly once new pages are added or edited. Have a look at this to see what happens after I edit a page http://niohoiuhui.blogspot.co.uk/. Can't really see my customers being happy with this fiasco, so looks like I'll be continuing to make my templates from scratch, by hand for the foreseeable future - was hoping Artisteer would be a good alternative and would just need some final tweaking but sadly that's not turned out to be the case at all :(

Yes, the nav bar issue has been super annoying with me as well. I always check no yet it still displays on the sidebar. I have to go in manually each time and delete it.

Noor, when you delete the navbar you might notice your quick edit icons also disappear! Better to just move it back to the top.

check http://cliqbaq.blogspot.com and you'll see, you can copy the html. Blog isn't done yet, but I think I'll use this as a main blog, there's also http://cliqbaqtest.blogspot.com I used to get the code for navbar menu

Add this css code to your style section:

To put Navbar at top of page:

#navbar-iframe {
position: fixed;
right: 0px;
top: 0px;
left: 0px;
}

To put Navbar on the bottom of page:

#navbar-iframe {
position: fixed;
right: 0px;
