How can I change the language of my website in the html before the head?

The following line appers as default

html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="ltr" lang="en-US" xml:lang="en"

How can I change it as default to it-IT?

I think you need to do it manually after exporting the site/template from Artisteer.

For the HTML Website template this can be done in the exported files. For CMS's this can be changed differently, for example, for Wordpress there are some instructions for site localization http://www.artisteer.com/?p=help_wordpress#wp2

Thank you for your answer Antonina.

But this is a bit surprising answer: "For the HTML Website template this can be done in the exported files".

I thought Artisteer allows now content management. It doesn't say that it is in English only. I'm producing pages in French and it's a real pain to modify manually the language code in the exported files each time I modify the content of anything on my web site.

That surely shouldn't be a difficult thing to implement ? Or maybe there is something we can change ourselves in the source code ?

Thanks for carrying for your non-US clients 8-)

Well, thats an issue since years and it has never changed.
of course for google it is not that important, what is written there, but i change it by myself in the exported files as well and i already hate to do it!

I have here hundret of sites http://hidemevpn.de/ and you could imagine how much work it is always...
