I have built quite a few Joomla sites in both 1.5 and 2.5 but I have one that is doing something "odd". I am using a Category Blog layout with the following options: 1 lead, 10 items, 2 columns, 10 links and order set to "across".
For some reason the articles in the 2 columns are vertically aligning the headings, so where the articles are different lengths there is a gap beneath the short article rather than having the next article hard up underneath. I have never seen Joomla do this before and am not sure if it is a setting in Category Blog or in the template. It is coming out (in effect) as if it is in a table, but I have never seen it do this before.
I am using Joomla 2.5.6 and Artisteer 3.
Any help would be apprecaited.
Thanks,
John

Hi John Oxlade,
If I well understand it, this isn't a problem. It is a menu item setting.
Open your menu item and play with Multi Column Order in Layout Options.
Selecting Vertical you get what you see now on your site. Selecting horizontal you can change the appearance. It's a matter of taste :)
