Not sure why you would need to use the import as opposed to just adding a link to your header.php file.

<link href="https://www.epromote.co.za/imugfstyle.css" type="text/css" />

if adding it in your style.css file add it to the top of the file.

BTW, I think gravity forms has a forms.css file which I did not notice.

I know but someone has created me a custom css form for my gravity forms and I was just wondering how the heck to import it.

I will try what you said and get back to you.

@Steve

Your style.css file should be created automatically whenever you export your artisteer wordpress theme. You shouldn't need to mess with the CSS export options, although it's useful for adding additional extra styling.

When you export your theme to your local PC as a zip folder, are you able to extract that folder to view the contents? It should contain a whole bunch of files, including one called "style.css" ???

This isn't tech support by the way, just the artisteer wp forum. You'll find a link to tech support on the main artisteer site, and they have been very helpful on the odd occasion we have used them :-)

Steve,

you should not have to include anything in the CSS Options. Those are for additonal modifications you may want to make that to your template that you cannot make in Artisteer.

Is this how you are installing the theme?

1. Create Wordpress Theme in Artisteer
2. Select File / Export / Wordpress Theme / ( make sure you are exporting as wordpress theme. )
3. Click box that says zip archive
4. Log in to your wordpress admin area
5. under Appearance / Themes / Install Theme
6. Choose the zip file you saved from Artisteer

If that is what you have been doing, you may want to try and extract the files from the zip file and make sure the style.css is there. You can always upload the files manually through ftp if all else fails.

...... just another thought... Artisteer can work in many different modes, such as website/blog, joomla, drupal etc.

Are you certain you are creating and exporting under the Wordpress template??? :-O If you open the "readme.txt" file in the theme you are trying to upload, it does go on about "wordpress" there, doesn't it??

I am doing just that..
Just this morning it stopped generate style.css.
Since i know close to nothing about coding and html it's crucial that i get this to work. It's so frustrating. Does anyone know what's wrong?

The Themes generated yesterday work but not today.

Please say that there is a patch or something for this. :-(

Hi Emmanuel,

It sounds like you're trying to install a .artx file (the Artisteer file) rather than a .zip file (the exported WordPress theme).

When you do the export from Artisteer, check where it's being saved, as it may be a different location to the Artisteer file you're working on.

Hope that helps.

I have a artisteer generated theme and when I copy and paste the CSS code I do not get the full page. What am I doing wrong?
